Beginner Session

The private beginner session is the ultimate introduction to surfing and building the best foundations. Whether it’s a one off activity or the start of a new lifelong passion,  the beginner sessions will teach you the most important and technically correct skills to keep you safe in the sea and surfing with style.  

Private sessions allow you to enjoy the experience alone, or with a few friends or family members. The small student to instructor ratio means that everyone will get plenty of 1-1 instruction throughout the session. 

Sessions are 90 minutes (equipment included) and begin with 10-15 minutes of theory on land to demonstrate, practice, & understand the key skills to get you surfing and staying safe in the sea.

A short 5-10 minute break half way through the session provides a nice opportunity to catch your breath, rehydrate and to take on board any technical points before getting back out there.

Any photos or videos of your waves will be sent to you after the session (included in the price) so that you have something to remember the experience by.

 Intermediate & Advanced Sessions

The intermediate & advanced sessions are for anyone looking to progress their surfing. Whether you’re a recreational or competitive surfer these sessions are designed to help you achieve your surfing aims & goals.

Before the session I will be in contact with you in order for me to gain an understanding of where you are at with your surfing & what you would like to get out of the session.

From this we can then determine whether video analysis or having me in the sea with you will be the best option. As well as what conditions will be best to do the session in.

Sessions are 90 minutes & involve a number of short breaks (depending on the conditions & session aims) this is an opportunity to go through the footage with you and to provide you with feedback, setting 1 or 2 aims at a time for you to get back out there & work on.

If I am in the sea with you, we will still have a break on the beach to go through feedback, set aims, rehydrate, and get back out there.

For the competitive surfer, sessions focus on the 5 factors of surfing performance (physical preparation, technical preparation, wave usage preparation, tactical preparation, & psychological preparation). I will be in touch with you before the session to understand your goals or to help you create goals. This will then determine which areas of performance we will focus on during the session.

Personal training

Physical training is a passion of mine that I pursued at University, graduating with a first class honours degree in strength and conditioning.

The degree allowed me to really learn and study in depth the nitty gritty of how each and every one of us are extremely different in terms of our physical abilities, & my approach to a personal training session is that it is very personal! Not a one workout suits all.

With the personal training sessions we can assess any weaknesses together and tailor workouts & exercises that suit your body to a T.

Training doesn’t always have to be ‘goals’ focused. Just turning up to complete a good workout leaves you feeling energised & the positive effects it has mentally are astounding, I love to see it!

 Kids group session.

Kids groups sessions kick off in June through to the end of October when we have the temperature and light back on our side. These sessions are limited to 5 spaces per group. Please get in touch via email to register your interest in joining a kids group session and I will be in contact with you as soon as a space becomes available.

 Junior performance squads.

The junior performance squad sessions are weekly group sessions for 12+ year olds who are confident out back on their own, catching unbroken waves and are able to go left and right down the line. Please get in touch via email to register your interest in joining a performance squad and you will be contacted as soon as a space becomes available.
